Old Guardhouse

Build in 1767 it served as the main guardhouse for the military stationed in Borna. At this time, the soldiers were housed in town houses. With the completion of the barracks - today's district administration office - on October 1st 1901, the last guard parade took place and all military personnel moved into the new building.

After that, the building housed the police station, the adult education centre and the housing office, among others. Since 2005, the tourist information office of the city of Borna moved into the building.
